Netherite armor knockback resistance does not match Java Edition

There are a couple of duplicates of this issue but none have provided solid detail on the bug or what is expected.

When I killed a squid, it should have dropped an ink sac.

What actually happened was...:
Instead, it dropped an apple.

Steps to Reproduce:
Find a squid (though we all know how difficult they are to find when you actually want to find one).
Kill the squid.
Notice that it drops apples instead of ink sacs. How am I supposed to get black dye now?

IonicEcko this issue is here from the start of nether beta and no one reported it cuz they don't watch a java update and stuffs even the smallest amount of knockback can still move me a bit

I’ve tested horizontal knockback from skeleton arrows and from creeper explosions using 0, 1, and 2 pieces of netherite armor and checking the exact player position with MCCToolchest. Each piece of netherite armor reduces knockback by 10%. So, a full set should reduce knockback by 40%.

This seems consistent with the 1.16 changelog statement:

The expected result stated by the OP is that a full set of netherite would reduce knockback by 100%. It is further claimed that this is the case in Java Edition. I am not able to test Java behavior. However, the Java changelog statement is exactly the same as the Bedrock statement. So, I would say that if you get 100% knockback resistance in Java, then that’s bug in Java.

Apparently in Java Edition it is possible to achieve 100% knockback resistance against explosions by wearing 4 pieces of netherite armor with one of them enchanted with blast protection IV. However, in Bedrock Edition blast protection does not reduce knockback from explosions at all, so I've created MCPE-97054 to track that issue.

Isn't this bug invalid since it is confirmed that it is an intended feature and @GoldenHelmet already made a bug report for blast protection?

@Bernardo Gomes Negri: Mojang chose to confirm this report and keep it open. They have just implemented a fix in the 1.16.200.53 beta today.

Well I tested this in the latest beta and I move very slowly towards the edge of one block. It feels like it's 100% knockback res. UPDATE: I have tested this with a iron golem and a mob having a enchanted sword with knockback 2. Results, having full netherite gives you 100% knockback res. Even with the iron golem's punch I get 100% knockback res. So this bug is not fully fixed.

GinePik: this report was about knockback resistance being too low. You’ve confirmed that it is now much higher. What do you mean when you say it is not fully fixed?

@unknown the only reason I said it is not fully fixed is because, it doesn't match with the Java edition now. Which does not have 100% knockback res. I'm so sorry if I'm wrong.
