While I was collecting XP to repair my gear in my skeleton farm, I noticed that almost every one killed drops their usual drops outside the slab where the hopper is under it. Before this, every skeleton would ALWAYS drop them into the slab and into the hopper.
Now, I have to manually put the misplaced drops into the chest myself, wasting time.

Are you sure the hopper isn’t full?
If you wait for the hopper to fully empty and clean up the misplaced drops, then start over, does the problem continue?
