I am trying to join my friends world and I get stuck on locating server.

We're tracking this issue as MCPE-36190, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate.

this issue came with the new update, its not 2 years old

it occurs when resource packs are activated

It also keeps new worlds from being created with resource packs that worked b4

I have one HP Spector that can still use the add-ins, but can not create a world with them.

whereas my HP zbook can not ???  interesting since my zbook is an engineering workstation

Mc-Creator add-ins work but blocks don't generate or appear in the /give menu
