On top of the Microsoft sign in constantly failing; I had an old Minecraft world that I updated from PS4 to the new edition. I have played the new edition copy for a bit but I have not once went to the nether. I attempted to go to the nether today, and of course I wasn't signed in to my Microsoft account, but I didn't notice any of the nether updates. The only thing I did see were the piglings. However, I tested a new creative world and it did have blue fire, the trees etc. Please allow us an option to reset the nether like in some previous versions.

I have traveled further into the nether and there was no different biomes at all. And again, as initially stated, the whole nether I. This case was a new generation. None of it was explored or ventured prior to the update
Was the world that didnt have any of the new content from the marketplace? Ive been having that problem where anything from marketplace does not have updated inventory.
check in the bottom left hand corner of the title screen. if it says 1.14.60 then you need to update.
Please forgive Jax, Ian; apparently they failed to read before commenting. And the world I was referring to initially was a custom generated world. But I did test a new creative marketplace world; and I also noticed the nether did not reflect the update either. Only shows up in brand new created world's. Doesn't appear to work retroactively; even though the nether was never explored or generated for these world's.
Custom generated worlds seem to show the new inventory items even if the nether is not updated itself - its that marketplace content use to update inventory retroactively but now even if you create a new world with old marketplace content, nether content does not appear in the inventory. So essentially all previous marketplace content is now obselete
