Creepers keep spawning inside my house when the even when the light level is above 11, also creepers seem to spawn with twice the frequency then they did before before update

I own a realm, and the creeper spawn rate on EASY is through the roof! I went to hunt Stray's in an ice biome, and creepers kept spawning. I have a 5 x 5 torch grid around my base, and have never had creeper i(or other mob) issues, but now all of a sudden, creepers spawn around my base area...
@@unknown I think you are just experiencing effects of the new despawning system. The spawn rules for creepers and strays have not changed. A 5 x 5 torch grid should provide enough light to prevent monster spawns, but it might not if there are elevation differences across the area.
This ticket will be set back to “awaiting response” until incorrect spawning can be confirm by a screenshot, video, or world save.

Please provide a screenshot of the area where monsters are spawning unexpectedly. This ticket will be resolved "awaiting response" until updated. Also please note the following:
In previous versions of Minecraft, it was common for the cave monster cap to be filled by monsters hidden in small, inaccessible caves. The chance of this happening would increase as you spent time in an area, for example building a base or exploring and the lighting visible caves. With the new despawning system in 1.16, the hidden monsters are now able to despawn regularly, so new ones can spawn in other places. Monsters should now regularly respawn on full blocks in places you have already visited but have not fully lit.
Keep in mind that torches have a light level of 14, monsters spawn in in light level 7 and below, and spawning is based on the light level of the space just above the floor. You may find it helpful to temporarily turn off smooth lighting (in video settings) to see how the light levels change block by block.
