I placed my items in a chest shortly before I logged off. After I logged back in, all my items disappeared when I logged back in again. I had my armor on me before I logged out so at least I didn’t lose that. Help!

Yep , the same happened to me just today . I was playing in my normal Minecraft world , no realms or stuff like that and when I place things in the lower section of the double chest and log out , they just disappear after I log in back and lost all of my stuff , fortunately not my pick and sword .
Does MCPE-102970 describe why the items are disappearing? (I know it's for the beta version and a newer ticket then this one, but if it's occurring in the current live version please notify them)
