i am having trouble connecting to any of my friends multiplayer world or servers like mineplex. i am playing on my iphone 6s and Minecraft auto updates and was on 1.14.60 for a while. Now i am on 1.16.0. i was on zoom with my friends and the host of the world needed to be able to use the /setmaxplayers command. there is an option in zoom where you can control someone's courser. the host let me do it and i was able to quit the world (kicking everyone including me of the world) and i enabled experimental mode which copied the world. when i tried to join the new world on my phone but as soon as the loading screen (the one that says locating server or generating world) it freezes for half a second and then the entire game instantly crashes and im on my phones home screen. now if i try to join someone else's world it freezes the exact same way and crashes. if someone already in the world (everyone else has no problem joining, just me) tries to invite me, i get the notification and i click on it and it shows the loading screen, freezes, and crashes. the same thing happens if i try to join a server (The Hive). i joined my own world (a minigame i made) perfectly fine and one of my friends joined me no problem. (i was even able to kill him and nothing unexpected happened). its not letting me join anything that isn't mine or else it shows the loading screen for half a second, freezes, and crashes. by the way, it freezes for like a quarter of a second before it crashes. is there anything i can do? i restarted Minecraft a bunch of times and i even rebooted my phone. interestingly, after i restarted my phone Minecraft is already opened (i closed it before restarting my phone). also i tried signing out of my microsoft account and logged back in and that didn't work. i hope i have given you enough information for you. this happened on Friday the 15th of May. I've been trying to get help before on the Minecraft website but they never responded. that's why I am reposting it here. also i cant join LAN worlds either but if i sign in to my microsoft account on a different device (my dads ipad) everything works perfectly fine, the whole thing, LAN, servers, even my friend's worlds. Yesterday I was able to copy the world files, reinstall Minecraft and put my worlds back in the game and it works. It’s fixed but could you still make it not happen again?
