Crafting book doesn’t show the crafting recipes

This is a very annoying bug. I always forget the recipes materials and need to search on the internet...

Yeah, I don’t normally use it since I’ve drilled most crafting recipes into my memory but it’s convenient for when I do forget certain recipes

Does pressing controller button X show the crafting recipes?

Yeah. I wasn’t aware that it changed so that you couldn’t see it automatically

I've had same issue since downloading most recent update on my Switch.

Any idea how to fix? I struggle playing without it and it is killing my son's enjoyment

Pressing x on my controller shows how to craft so I assume it should work on switch aswell but it would be Y instead
