Everytime I start up Minecraft, the white loading screen with the bar graphs and minecraft logo takes 5-10 mins to load (usually takes like 20 secs) and then once it gets to the main screen it freezes and says "failed to load character 5". When it does work (5% of the time) and I try to load my world it goes to "updating 1 of 4 packs" and stays at 0% the whole time. Please help.

So there was and update yesterday for the game and it did jack for my problem and I still can't play. Also totally loving the response time here. Really great customer support....
So does anybody else have similar problems as I do? Kinda feel like the devs are just ignoring my problem since I haven't even got one message to even acknowledge my problem.

So just an update. The 2.09 update did not work for me. I still had the long white loading screen but when the update presented itself, the main screen did not freeze. So i went to play my world and got "updating 1 0f 3 packs" I guess is one less but still staying at 0%. I restart the game and long white loading screen and freezes at main screen again. Possibly an improvement but same song and dance...
YES, I CONFIRM SAME HERE! XBOX ONE. I've always played offline but after the recent beta update the game won't load. It says "Global resources failed to...". PLEASE FIX SOON!😞
