Ipad1 with ios5. I downloaded minecraft pocket edition and paid for it but not WORking. Please fix urgently

Don't know anything about bugs or minecraft. Downloading for my child. Even if it has been reported still don't know what to do.
Can you Fix it please?

It may be fix in the 0.12.0 update which is coming soon but right now you could update your Ipad to a earlyier version so it works
