When a stack of items/blocks is thrown on a hopper and there are still some items left in the stack, it will still show a full stack of items.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place a hopper
Fill the hopper with 4 unstackable items and 1 stackable item
Throw a full stack of the same stackable item onto the hopper
Observed Results:
The 3D item model doesn't represent a model of just 1 item
Expected Results:
The 3D item model should represent a model of just 1 item.

This affects any type of container that can pick up items (i.e. both players, hoppers and entities).
Steps to reproduce (player):
Fill your inventory with sticks, excluding the armor slots and the left hand slot, plus one other slot of your choice.
Drop 64 white dye items in one place.
Place 1 white dye into your empty slot.
Pick up (in survival) previously dropped white dyes.
Throw away 1 stick and pick up 1 remaining dye (to make sure there is 1 item left).
Observed results:
Visually 4 white dyes remain dropped, although there is 1 left (4 dropped rotating items should mean that there are 21+ items).
Expected results:
Visually 1 dropped item remains spinning.
