Summary:
Riptide will not work when in a full cauldron with water even though the player is in water.
Steps to Reproduce:
Fill a cauldron with water
Enchant a trident with Riptide
Stand inside the cauldron
Use the trident
Observed Results:
Nothing happens.
Expected Results:
The player should be launched.

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behaviour, but it will not be fixed right now.
