Hello,
It is my first time using them (I never knew they existed until now) and have just tried emotes on one of my PS4 worlds and I was able to find and add the default ones onto my main emotes menu, but when I try and perform any (even with nothing in my hand, standing still and in third person) it does nothing. My character just stares at me blinking. I have made sure I've pressed the right buttons and selected the correct emote (doesn't matter anyway, none of them work) and still nothing. To reproduce, after adding any default emote to the emote menu, select the emote and press X. However, i have absolutely no idea if it is just my game that has this issue or others as well.
Now, before this is resolved as a duplicate, I understand that there is another ticket about this (actually not at all about performing emotes, but about buying them or such) already and I fully understand I could have just added more information to that existing ticket (even if its about something different entirely), but I just don't know how. To be honest, I am new to Minecraft's bug report website and have not used it much, so don't know much about it. Also please let me know if that other existing ticket would apply to my issue or not. At least when I read it, it wasn't about my issue with emotes, but with purchasing them which I am not currently doing as again, I am new to emotes. Please let me know 🙂
If you would be so kind as to tell me how to add more information to an existing ticket (on pc and mobile incase they are different, as I use both depending on which I have closest to me at the time), I would be eternally grateful. Also, if you could please please add screenshot images to your reponse, just for the sole purpose of making it 100% clear how to do it, that would also be amazing.

If you feel this is still a valid issue in the latest version, then please update the ticket accordingly and ensure that it follows the Issue Guidelines including clear steps to reproduce the problem.
