End Gateway Bug

I entered an end gateway from the main island and it teleported me straight into the void. I lost an entire set of netherite gear, an elytra, my bow, a totem, tons of cobblestone, an enderchest, and multiple other items. I know for a fact that no one modified the terrain around that gateway and I believe I was the first to enter it. I can not describe how angry I am that hours of grinding out a new set of gear was erased because of a stupid bug.
