I died in an End City and came back about 5 minutes later, ALL my stuff was gone. I checked every tower at least 5 times to no avail. This is bad because I lost my enchanted netherite and diamond gear, and that stuff is hard to get. Before, I’ve come back to my death spot about 25-30 minutes later and found all my items. Even the XP went away.

Maybe the 30 minute time is a bug...

The 30 minute time was probably due to the chunk the items were in not being loaded. Their despawn timer only goes up when they are loaded. Most likely your items dropped through the floor of the end city. I will have this ticket resolved as a duplicate of MCPE-48370.

Did you die from falling? If so, your stuff can go through the floor. That’s tracked at MCPE-48370.
Dropped items only disappear after the chunk they are in is loaded for 5 minutes.
