After just updating Minecraft to version 1.16.20, the game frequently freezes and then crashes the Switch when trying to close the software. Having to force restart my Switch because of a bug on the new update is very frustrating. Just earlier today, before updating, the game was running normally. I have seen others experiencing similar problems after updating Minecraft to 1.16.20 on their Switches today as well.

I’m having the same issue and Kristin try performing a hard reset by holding down your power button for like 30 sec that’s what worked for me
It's also happening with me and all my friends that have switches. I think it's affecting everyone so it's really important it gets solved ASAP
