Last night I was playing creative(flat) and I was saving and quitting my world like normal and it worked but when i came back I found everything was deleted a months worth of progress just gone this has made me really upset and if anyone could please help me figure out why everything deleted and why I was left with large holes in my map where things were supposed to be that'd be great thank you

Are you saying parts of the world were completely empty (pure air down to the void) or that they were reset to flat as if they were newly generated?

Also I have been forced to restart a new world because of this
