As you can see in the screenshots below, I set up 3 mob spawners.

The only mob still spawning are Zombified piglins when the room is completely lit.

The understanding in the community is that Zombified Piglins are only meant to spawn at light levels 11 and below. It seems that they are spawning at any light level. Maybe this was intended but I doubt it.

Zombified Piglins can spawn on sea lanterns in the Nether. Not sure if this is intended, but there are other gaming breaking bugs to contend with.
@Draco894 noone said that this is an important bug (if it is even a bug). It is just something that I came across when playing. I was also not aware that sea lanterns spawn in the nether.

@GoldenHelmet you may be right, however, the question has to be asked, why are the other two mobs not spawning then? The wiki doesn't say anything about the overworld for them either.Â
He means if you place sea lanterns so that the light level is 14, they still spawn. So the wiki is incorrect, at least for Bedrock.
Ok 🙂 so that means that maybe "unintentionally" the Zombified Piglins (ONLY) are spawning at any light level. But does that seem correct? I don't know...All other ZOMBIE-LIKE hostile mobs have a light level where they spawn. I don't think these should be different but maybe the devs had a reason? I don't know....just feels off.
@thecrafter06 I would,seeing as though it is a different mob but maybe reference this issue in yours.
This is intentional, spawning in light level only 11 and below is a bug in Java (MC-156004) and the information on the Wiki is mostly based on Java behavior.

The wiki does say they spawn in light level 11 and below in the nether, but I'm not sure that's correct. It doesn't say anything about light level requirements in the overworld when they spawn from portals.
