Animals in Wildlife: Jungle by Pixelheads are not taming even with the correct food.

I just purchased Wildlife:Jungle by Pixelheads and every time I feed a baby animal the correct food, it doesn't tame them. The animal will grow, however it never tames.

Yes, I got this from the minecraft store. I came here because it seems like Pixelheads brings people here when there are issues with the packs. Do you have any suggestions?

This issue is reported fixed in the 1.16.100.57 beta changelog:

  • Baby animals can be tamed once again, before growing up

Apparently it was indeed a bug in vanilla Minecraft, and not an issue caused by the Marketplace world. The fix will be included in the next full release, but no target date can be given.

Incidentally, the fix that was just released in Beta was not driven by this report, which was backlogged with us and hadn't been submitted yet. The developers must have been working from a report by the testing team at Mojang.

You said "...it seems like Pixelheads brings people here when there are issues with the packs". Please don't generalize that to thinking you should just skip them and come straight here. They might have known somehow that it was a bug in Minecraft and was already being worked on, in which case sending you here was appropriate (although they should have explained it to you better).

In general, if you have a problem that can only be reproduced when you're using a certain Marketplace pack, you need to start by asking the pack's author to fix it. If the author just sends you here without a good explanation, that's a problem and you should probably report it on the Minecraft Feedback site. Even if they researched it and know that it's a bug in Minecraft, it should be them who write the bug report, because they would have a more detailed understanding of the problem than you.

Again, I'm not saying Pixelheads has done anything wrong in this case. What I'm saying is that Marketplace creators have an obligation to help you with a problem using their product, or if they can't, to explain why in a way you can understand.

Thank you both for responding. I tried reaching out a while back on their Twitter and still haven't heard back, but hearing that it was a vanilla bug is a relief. I wasn't sure if they stopped updating or what. Either way, I appreciate the help!
