Whenever I go through the Nether-portal, the loading screen freezes and I am forced to restart Minecraft. I start in the overworld and go through the portal again. It freezes again. It happens several times, until the loading screen finally finishes after long loading and I spawn in the Nether.
It happens on my Android phone Huawei Mate 20 Lite.

Is it just one portal in your world or is it all portals? Can you provide an export of your world for another community member to test the issue?
