Experience Orbs not showing in 3rd person (Face mode)

When I spawn a lot of experience Orbs and get closer to collect them, the show up around my characters face in first and third person view, but not Front Third person. The shadow seems to appear but not the orbs around your face.

Go into creative, use an bottle of experience and throw some to spawn orbs, spawn a lot to get a good look. Then get closer to collect them, go into front third person mode and you won't see them. In other modes you will. Take a look at the screenshots.

for me it only shows xp orbs if i face a certain direction in first person front view. build 6.
