Minecraft sems to have the in game text chat allways giving out!!! please fix the chat in the game of minecraft I use speech to text also and that seems to mess up as well also I tend to really rely on both SO PLEASE FIX IT THANKS!!!

Are you still having this issue? If so, please try logging into your Xbox Live account and look in the the "Privacy and online safety" section. Under "Privacy", check the settings for:
1. You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text [x] Allow [ ] In-game friends [ ] Block
2. Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites [x] Everyone [ ] Friends [ ] Block
If anyone has only the "Friends" choices set then chats to/from non-friends will be blocked.
Also some text may still be censored if it contains profanity (and sometimes just random words)
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.

Yup im having the same issue. I use Minecraft of PC, iOS, and Xbox and my friend can see my chat but I can never see his. He is always using PC or Xbox. PC is his main device that is used. But the chat will intermittently start working then if I log off then log on again the chat stops working again. This is currently effecting 1.5.2 on my realm. I don't know what is going on but this has been an issue for a long time now. I believe this all started before the 1.4 update when there was a patch for the chat in which it fixed it for a some time but then went back to not working again. I hope that it gets fixed soon. Thank you!
