This is the nearly the same issue as MC-133063 which was fixed in Minecraft 1.13-pre7, but now resurfaces in REALMS
I just got this on both of my Macs. I'm very curious how it works though. Despite re-installing minecraft, updating java, restarting, and also re-downloading the latest version 1.13, the error persists.
Makes no sense in my mind – where does the error occur, since other people still can join and play?
This exact issue is occurring whilst trying to connect to our realm. We just renewed our subscription yesterday and having a paid service be unusable is upsetting.
Our realm was also completely reset. I will contact the Realm owner to ask her to start a support case.
Hi Melinda. Check the backups pane, that should have backups for your world. If that doesn't work, support is your next option.
Reopened, still an issue for some systems (see REALMS-1174)
