We play Realms on all sorts of different devices, and we're constantly getting disconnected from the server. Can we get an explanation why?

Can you describe in a greater detail the disconnects? Do they happen at certain times, is everyone disconnected at the same time, how often are you getting dc?
Sometimes they happen randomly. When it happens, everyone gets disconnected. It gets worse the more people join and play, I've noticed.

We did have some issues around the time period you describe. We believe this to be resolved now.
If you are still having problems, please contact support (https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/emails/new) so we can have a look at your realms specifically.
Hi, we found a bug today that would cause servers running large worlds to crash when trying to do backup every 30 minutes.
This is what's been crashing your world.
We have a fix and we plan to release it after some testing, tomorrow morning CEST.

Just wanted to report that this is happening to everyone every few hours. Can WE PLEASE get an explanation, so I can tell them if it's worth it to keep paying for Realms, or not?
