My realm is 1.5 gb on Xbox x. I have tried to load a backup of my realm into my empty worlds list but it stops at 1 gb on Xbox x and fails to import/ download.
I also tried backing up my realm world via a previous save and the same thing happens. I have also tried with and without vibrant visuals and it still fails at 1gb.
I had no issues previously using the back ups.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been having the same issue. Up to a size of around 1.2GB, both download and upload worked without any problems. Now the world is 1.43GB in size, and when I try to download it, I get the message “An error has occurred” shortly after it reaches 1.2GB.
The same thing happens when I try to download one of the backups.
The problem occurs on both Windows 10 and Xbox Series X.
Minecraft version is v1.21.92.
I’ve had the same problem since last may. The download starts but as soon as it hits 1.0gb , it shows “an error has occured” message.
Tried using downloading on another PC with different ISP. Still the same result. At the exact same time, as soon as it hits 1.0gb.
There maybe an issue with some older texture packs and VV causing this issue. I removed my only texture pack which was the minecraft default textures and it finally downloaded.
@[email protected] how do you remove the minecraft default textures?
My realm does not use mods , add-ons, or even resource pack and it still fails to download. Leaving everything using the default textures
I use a PS4 and I’ve had the same download problem since January. My world size is 1.04 GB. Not sure what it was back in January, but I haven’t done much in the world since this problem started. My smaller worlds and backups download without problem. I don’t think I use any mods, add-ons, or resource packs.
I have tried to use my iPad to download my world into my empty worlds list. It proceeds slightly longer into the download but shortly after reaching 1.3gb bounces back to 1 gb then fails.
My realm world is fully playable on both devices Xbox and iPad with no glitches or crashes but can not be backed up or downloaded.
