I’ve had the same issue for 8 months now. My world is a bit larger than 1GB. I have no add-ons. Download seems to finish (about 40 minutes) then says Error. Retries then immediately go to Error. After complete exit and shutdown of Minecraft, then I can start another download attempt, which again fails in the same way.
I use a PS4 and I’ve had the same download problem since January. My world size is 1.04 GB. Not sure what it was back in January, but I haven’t done much in the world since this problem started. My smaller worlds and backups download without problem. I don’t think I use any mods, add-ons, or resource packs.
This is a year-old (or more) existing issue, but I can’t find any existing bug reports.
Still an issue for me, since 2024. My Realms world is 1.04 GB, on a PS4. No add-ons. Attempted downloads seem to complete, then say Error. Reselecting Download then immediately says Error. After exiting and shutting down Minecraft, then restarting, downloading will then start, but fails again at apparent completion.
