Got the same issue ps4 pro on realms. I'm guessing they are not fixing it based on the date this ticket was opened.
I have a similar problem on the PS4. It does not hang for hours. Instead, it finishes rather quickly then says that there was an error. It also changes the file size right before finishing. It was originally 159.4mb. It changed to 157.8mb.

workaround not useable due to Playstation saves not being compatible with windows 10. You get encrypted files which you can't decrypt. And PS minecraft does not accept .mcworld files or local save data.

Original error
Bedrock save files from Realm when downloading get stuck at 75% exactly,. The cause'is likely a specific trigger that is suppose to happen after a specific point. Maybe down to converting it to a format the PlayStation accepts as pointed above.
[media]I also cannot download a copy of my realm. It completes the download, but then says "Level Import Failed" and "An error has occurred"
I have tried all suggested workarounds, except Windows. I even rebuilt my PS4 database. Internet is wired, high speed, not Wifi.
Still an issue. Playstation 5 supports large game downloads but crumbles apart downloading a Minecraft world off of the Realms service.
ok, so I am on a ps4. i do not have windows 10. and I am not seeing a solution to this issue? can anyone actually give me the correct resolution for ps4. this issue says resolved, and it seems from the comments, it is not resolved. my world is only 412.2 mb. i have had realm world bigger and had no problem downloading. now its still an issue. I have plenty of space, memory, ps4 memory, game memory etc. what’s the problem here?
Still an issue for me.
Uploaded world to real from PS5
Downloaded world on windows 10 laptop.
Uploaded world to realm
Size: 373mb
Downloading on PS5 results in
a) the first time I try download it, it downloads fully but progress bar just sits at 373mb of 373mb downloaded and nothing happens (left it over an hour)
b) thereafter, trying to download gives “an error occurred” until closing MC, restarting PS5 and then it goes back to a)
Still an issue for me, since 2024. My Realms world is 1.04 GB, on a PS4. No add-ons. Attempted downloads seem to complete, then say Error. Reselecting Download then immediately says Error. After exiting and shutting down Minecraft, then restarting, downloading will then start, but fails again at apparent completion.
I am experiencing the same issues with file download sticking at 654Mb on both my PS4 and Ps4 Pro, I have successfully downloaded the file on my Windows 10 Surface Pro, however how do I convert the downloaded windows 10 file to PS4 format? I exported it but ended up with a mcworld file which the PS4 does not understand.
