Xbox says "Your device does not support Minecraft realms"

A week ago my friend wasn’t able to join my realm because nothing popped up for them under realms, so in order to fix this what we had to do was I had to invite them which allowed them to join. Now it won’t let them join at all with their screen saying, “your device does not support Minecraft realms.”

What device are they using?

The device that their using is Xbox.

Is the user using version 1.14.60 of Bedrock?

Yea the user is on 1.14.60 bedrock

Realms have been experiencing some access issues for the last few days (since 8 June), so this could be related to that. Are you still having this issue? Have they tried restarting their Xbox to see if that solves the issue?

They tried to restart their Xbox and that seemed to fix the problem only now the problem came back again with me having to invite them which does let them join the realm. Not really a fix but at least it lets them Join my realm.

Thank you for replying. Joining a realm the first time requires either an invitation or the realm link. If you are "friends" the invitation is the best way to go as sharing the link allows anyone who has the link to join, which is not very secure. Once they join the first time the Realm should show up on the list. Since the issue with not being able to join at all is no longer happening this will be resolved as cannot reproduce.
