Hello, I'd like to a report a concern of apparent increased monster and friendly mobs in my Minecraft (Windows 10) Realm. Ever since the update, all mobs have been spawning in increased and worrying amounts. As well, very well-lit areas seem to do little in solving the problem, since monsters still continue to spawn. An example is of two creepers spawning in a 5x5 fenced in area accommodating 2 horses, with each cornerstone bearing a torch, or a large farm where every second block bears a torch harbors large quantities of monsters that were not there before the update occurred.
Also, in previous updates, any and all mobs could not spawn in water. This has changed drastically in the Better Together update, as large amounts of monsters (especially spiders) spawn in the middle of my well-lit and fenced in lake.
Changing the difficulty to "Easy" has not solved the problem.

Same here, Extremely well lit Nether wart farm, came down stairs and two creepers had spawned. Though didn't seem to be an issue after 1.2.1 but I oly played for an hour after release and away from my base. I did spot about 6 ghasts spawn at once though geez!
I have the same issue, but it seems only one chuck is doing this. I've lit the area up, but there are a ton of passive and hostile mobs that still spawn. I completely cleared out the chunk a couple in game days ago and now it's full. I've attached a screenshot to show what I mean. (mobs.png)
Just been playing in realms and there are mobs galore excessive amount of husks, creepers and skeletons. Creepers are certainly spawning in daylight as well. Venturing anywhere is now a danger, also I have never seen as many zombie pigmen or endermen at one time.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket has not been updated recently (~1 year+) so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines.

Hello, I am having the same issue on my 1.2 Realm which I play on XB1, Windows 10 and IOS. I have a very well lit compound and have hostile mobs spawning within. FYI this is a transferred XB1 map into 1.2
