I am not longer able to access or use the realms feature. For weeks I have been unable to replace the world on my realm. The upload fails immediately during the "Initializing Upload" process. I have voted and added comments to REALMS-474; however, that appears to be a dead JIRA. The issue has been live for months now without out any response from Mojang on what the source of the problem is or when a resolution should be expected. Meanwhile we all continue to pay for a service that is unusable.
Now, based on some success stories in the comments have tried to close the realm and reset the world. Closing the realm seems to have worked, but I am unable to reset the world without receiving a failure message. In addition, I am also no longer able to open the realm back up.
Therefore I now I have a completely broken realm that cannot be opened or have a world uploaded successfully. Is there a fix coming in the near future for these issues and realms as a whole, or would it be best to stop paying for the subscription?

Are you still unable to reset or reopen the realm? Note that after you take an action you may need to wait several minutes for it to take effect before you can do another action.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.
