Like the Summary says, I tried changing the texture pack for my realm, however when doing so I was given an error message that disappeared faster than I could read. I tried connecting to my realm and now forever load, or moved back to main menu with the same error flashing in and out of existence. Almost a quarter of my paid service time has now been occupied by down time due to strange errors/glitches.

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. Normally we would encourage you to take this problem to Community Support first, but the number of reports we're getting for Realms problems is persuading me to take a closer look at whether there might be a bug involved. However, the information you've provided is too little to allow me to narrow down on what's going wrong, so I'll need some more information from you. Please answer the following questions:
What texture pack did you try to apply? If it's not a Minecraft product, is it from the Marketplace? Note that Mojang cannot work on a bug unless it can be reproduced in a vanilla environment or only involves Minecraft branded DLC. If you only have issues with a world that has a third-party add-on activated for it, contact the add-on creator.
I assume you you added the texture pack in the Resource Pack settings of a locally stored world, then tried to upload it. Is that correct?
Are the problems you're having now occurring when you try to upload a world that has the texture pack? If so, do these problems happen if you try to upload a world that has no texture packs?
Have you tried Reset World, then replacing it with your desired world?
