Left my Xbox for an hour or so to afk farm to come back to a disconnected screen. Tried to play later this evening and my characters inventory is gone along with all my levels and gear, tried my last 5 back ups and each one is the exact same.
Don't know what to do about it? Lost a whole lot of fully enchanted nether gear and materials for a build with stacks on concrete which on survival take so long to obtain.

In general though, we would need to know what happened to cause the disconnection, as there are many possible causes.
It is also a good idea when going AFK to put your valuables in a safe place and only hold the items you actually need.
The realm backups do have timestamps though, so you should be able to find one from before you went AFK. If you end up logged back in at world spawn, you might be experiencing MCPE-55815. You might try logging out of your account and back in to see if that fixes it.
