minecraft.net switches to a random language randomly

When I click the "log out" button on minecraft.net, I get redirected to minecraft.net/de-de, despite having previously used the website in English and despite my English browser and system setting.

I too have this problem, however my current location is NOT in a Germany speaking locale. I am located in the US and have tried clearing the cookies for the site, as well as the cache. This occurs on all computers in my house, regardless of which browser is used. So far, I have tested Opera and Chrome browsers. I have not yet tested if the same occurs at other locations.

Confirmed on 2019-04-23.

Pitching in a bit of my experience - seems to only use languages that my browser (Chrome) has installed. I'm in the US and English is set as the default, though the website would load French since I have that language installed. Removing French just caused it to load another one of my installed languages other than the default.

This might be the case, I have German as a secondary language set in Chrome's spellcheck settings.

Confirming on 28 March 2020. I am in french Canada. It always goes back to DE-De.  Not even English.

Can confirm. In Israel, moves to Spanish automatically.

Can Confirm, that it's in De-DE for me. This is the worst bug in the website and it hasn't been fixed in years, the website is unusable and it's bizarre and discomforting.

I was wondering why I was starting to get some Spanish ads lately, I thought this was a joke, like I was being trolled lol. I just found that it had Spanish installed for Chrome and my request headers had:

accept-language: en-US,en;q=0.9,es;q=0.8

It quickly reminded me of this bug so I came here to let the folks know how to fix it, but it seems that @MightyPork figured it out 😉

I removed Spanish from the Chrome settings chrome://settings/languages and now the site works 🎉

Can confirm, I did some testing today using Vivaldi.

If I have Vivaldi's language list set to "en-us, en, de" it will use DE, if I add "es" at the end, it still uses DE, if I remove DE, I get ES. It doesn't matter what order it's in in the menu, it will always do this with these languages selected. The only time I can get it to load in English is if I have only English as the language in the selector box with no additional fallback languages.

this issue is still happening
i still can't access the specific page, it returns minecraft.netunderfined
