i can not purchase minecraft java edition due to this error message (Your profile name must be at least three characters long) when i try to use the user name Tombomb501

The account Tombomb501 got created not so long after this report, so I'm assuming it's fixed.

I have been having this problem, tried on Edge, Firefox, and Chrome. It appears to be appearing when an account already exists with that name, even when the name is more than 3 characters. It also appears to be intermittent; I banged my head against the wall for a while and then it started working correctly for reasons unknown.
