The Bug:
You can upvote resolved reports. This was not possible on the old bug tracker site. Still works as of 17/02/2026.
Steps to reproduce:
Look for resolved reports on the bug tracker.
Hint: Once logged in, try this link: https://report.bugs.mojang.com/servicedesk/customer/user/requests?page=1&reporter=all&statuses=closed
While on a resolved report, click on the vote button.
Observed results:
You can upvote a report that has been resolved.
Expected results:
Upvoting a resolved report should not be possible.

Still happening as of July 2026. Can confirm that voting and unvoting on resolved tickets is permitted by the interface, but the action suffers from a noticeable delay/lag before the UI registers the change. This might be because the backend database isn't optimized to process active user interactions on closed/resolved ticket states.
