The "Enable animations/Disable animations” button does not work on the game download page (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download ).
I recorded my screen for a clearer explanation.
I searched to see if the bug had already been reported, but found no results.

What I initially meant to say is that when the animation starts and the mobs come out from behind the “purches games” and you deactivate it at that moment, they remain frozen (let's imagine that you deactivate it when they are only on the first frame, it looks weird), but if you scroll back up slightly, reactivate the animations, and then scroll back down slightly, they all disappear at once.
On that page, the “enable animations” and “disable animations” only influences the mobs behind the buttons in the “Purchase Games” section. It prevents them from moving as you scroll the page. What animations did you expect to stop that didn’t stop after you clicked “disable animations”?
