The content of bug reports sometimes gets their text completely corrupted with a generic text

The bug:

When you create a bug report, written text sometimes permanently ends up as this text unless edited, even after reloading an affected bug report:

“[If you see this text, please refresh the page]”

This site glitch happens at random. I even witnessed the description of this bug report get corrupted with that text while making this report. This glitch can cause users to lose hard worked progress of writing their new bug reports. There is definitely a problem somewhere in the bug tracker’s automation system causing this corruption issue.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a new valid bug report

2. Sometimes the contents of the report get corrupted with the generic text. It happens at random.

Observed Result:

Sometimes the title and description gets completely corrupted with this text:

“[If you see this text, please refresh the page]”

I have seen it happen to reports like MCL-26733 and MC-308768 and MC-308785 before. In the case of WEB-8613, I only saw its description got corrupted, but I managed to edit the description back in manually.

Expected Result:

Bug report content should always be guaranteed to be intact upon creation.

Workarounds:

You can try copying your bug report contents to the clipboard before posting a bug report, in case it gets corrupted.
