Still occurs on 1.20.4. I'm very disappointed that a bug this old and problem-causing still occurs.
Yeah, this needs to be reopened. The movements are much worse on 1.20.4 (Probably other versions, I didn't check.)
The same thing is happening to me. On nintendo switch, I keep getting signed out and getting error codes when trying to signing back into minecraft. I could fix it by restarting, but since it takes 10-15 minutes for my minecraft to load, doing this is very annoying. Luckly, I mostly play on Java Edition, but all my friends play Bedrock, so this is very annoying. (Minecraft version 1.17.2)

Completely agree, this makes playing some 1.8.9 servers on 1.8.9 unplayable.
