Resizing the launcher as shown in the attached video will inevitable cause some parts of the UI to break, but the issue has been fixed for an upcoming release.

Not having a close button ❌ in the top right corner is a design choice. The dialog closes by clicking "Cancel" or using the escape key

"Adjust the width of a drop-down window to see the text of the selection as a whole." @unknown, this issue has been addressed and the fix will be out by next release.

The issue here has been that there hasn't actually existed any crash report file to show. Displaying the 'View Crash Report'-button in this case is a bug and is fixed in next release.
