@Jacob Hernandez I tried this briefly with my regular Controller but couldn’t find the option to map the buttons. But good to know.

If you have an Elite Controller, there may be a workaround:

In the Xbox settings, go to Devices and swap LB and LT as well as RB and RT in a profile for the controller. Then make the same change in the Minecraft settings, i.e. “Hotbar Left and Right” to LT and RT and then “Use” and “Attack” (may be different wording) to LB and RB.

At least it works for me. Please don't ask why that is. :-)

Same here since Bedrock Preview (Xbox Series X in my case) updated to 1.21.130.27.
