On Xbox, there is a controller issue that leads to repeated triggering of the left and right triggers, independently of each-other. This happens every few times a trigger is pressed down, it seems to be random whether it does it or not. For example, when placing blocks down in survival mode, when pressing the trigger down multiple times to place blocks, sometimes it will “stick” and start doing repeated presses of the button, without any user input. This applies to both breaking and placing blocks. I’ve confirmed that this occurs on both realms and single-player worlds, I believe it is a client side bug.
Steps to recreate (Right Trigger):
Load into a world, single-player/multi-player
Look at the ground, press RT repeatedly, leaving time to see if it takes effect
Randomly, it will act like you’ve held it down, or are pressing it repeatedly.
Steps to recreate (Left Trigger):
Load into a world, single-player/multi-player
Obtain blocks
Look at the ground, press LT repeatedly while walking away in a manner where you can continue placing blocks, leave a space between blocks if possible.
Randomly, it will continue placing blocks without user input, as if you’re pressing it repeatedly.
Observed Result:
LT and RT do not function as normal, instead every few presses act as if they are being pressed repeatedly/held down.
Expected Result:
LT and RT do not remain activated when pressed, and should not act as held down when it is not.

@Jacob Hernandez I tried this briefly with my regular Controller but couldn’t find the option to map the buttons. But good to know.
Sounds like the development team just gave some people a temporary 1click auto mone bot for now…… I smell a exploit coming….let's see how broken we can make it before they wanna fix it.
@Ænemal at least for xbox series x it's settings>devices&connections>controllers&headsets>configure
Then you can create a new controller profile and edit it to swap triggers but I don't know if regular xbox 1 controller has this feature
