(Added more RAM? / Updated Graphic Card? / Updated Java?)

Did you ever had mods installed on this world?
Sometimes, after updating on a new version of MC, after starting to load a world witch had blocks from other mods, there are 2 solutions that MC will use:
1. Delete all the "weird" blocks that MC can't find it's origine;
2. MC will be a d**k and just make your world corrupted :S.

On the other world or on your main world?
Somtimes, the redstone position my be weird at some moments (North-South | East-West).
For eg: redtone pillars go faster with E-W pos' than the N-S one.
Did you try the exact thing in a other world??
Did you make sure you did a on--off state with thre redstone?
Did you have mods installed?
Did it happen after you got throught 1.4.5?

Tails, when I posted the bug, only that 1.5 Unrelease vresion was available so
