Windows 11 updates will not resolve the issue for most people.  Windows 10 is still the predominant operating system.  So there will need to be a different path for resolution.

Looks to be fixed for version 1.20.15.  My gpu usage before was 3% at best (usually 0%), now it is averaging over 20%.

I have the same problem.  My pc is using the Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti and I'm lucky if the gpu usage is 1%.  Meanwhile, my cpu usage is 80% to 90% and lags the computer.  The Windows 10 graphics settings for Minecraft are set to high performance, but that doesn't make any difference.  If I load different games, the gpu usage is much higher and there is no lag due to less usage of the cpu.  This is definitely a bug in Minecraft.

This is still happening in Bedrock ver. 1.19.51.  My game is stored locally and not run from any server setup.  The mouse is not locking to the game.  Even in fullscreen mode, the mouse rolls out of the game and can pull up the windows taskbar or the title bar.  I'm running a dual monitor setup, and found a way to keep the mouse in game using a different program called Dual Monitor Tools, but the mouse can still pull down the title bar.

1)  A third party tool was used in my first world.  No third party tool was used in my second world.  Chunks went missing/reverting in both.

2)  Worlds were never used in a Realm.

3)  As stated, my first world that I created some time ago lost chunks.  I then recently created a new one, and then that one had chunks revert back to their original state.

4)  No clue what a ticking area is.  If it is referring to chunks with farms using redstone, it has happened to chunks using redstone and chunks without it.

Restarting does not work.  If it did for you, good for you, but it doesnt work for everyone.

This has happened to me twice.   I first noticed it on a world that I had been working on for a while and reluctantly started a new one.  Within a span of a few days, it happened on the new world also.  The second world I literally only had a few farms on it where it happened.  Nothing out of the ordinary happened and I didn't use any third party programs to cause said issue either.  For me, this all started with the 1.17 updates to the game.  A copy of my second world is located here:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/0ncpl4959cjm3us/A%20whole%20new%20world.mcworld?dl=0

I am playing on a PC with windows 10 and minecraft version 1.17.2.
