I'm having the same issue. I was playing with my daughter yesterday on my iPad 6 and it started freezing up on both of us (respawning without ANYTHING in our inventory). This morning it just freezes at the load screen. Note: I've worked in IT 28+ years, 11 in education rolling out thousands of iPads. Never had an issue with apps freezing like this. Even playing over a LAN it almost seems like a connectivity issue. I've turned off WiFi... Hmmm...
