Ok so this is confusing. The first one i linked was the incorrect one (MC-239434), and was a duplicate of the one that Tail linked (MC-239397). The one Tail linked is the one that I meant, which is why I linked it in a second comment (sorry for the misconception). I forgot to explain myself though. The second one that I linked had MC-241561 linked as a duplicate, which is about lava being found in cold biomes. The bug I reported is the exact same bug as showcased in MC-241561, which is marked as resolved. But what I found out in 1.18 as seen in the screenshots, is that the bug isn't actually resolved and is still a bug in minecraft, which is why I reported it again. If anything is still confusing let me know and I'll do my best to explain it better. Sorry about all the previous mistakes. Thanks
MC-239434: this is the one that was "resolved" any other reports relating to lava generating in a cold biome were marked as duplicates of this one.
oops.
i made sure to check if this bug was already reported, but couldnt seem to find it since i didnt know how to search by affected versions
my bad!
I just checked and they still just stay in their houses and chat rather than going to the bell
here is the bell
[media]there we go, one without optifine in 1.16.2 with the f3 debug screen enabled. Sorry for being a pain lol.
[media]I affected the villagers with glowing so you can see where they are during meeting period (time set 1000) and the lime concrete represents where the bell is.
my bad let me get one without optifine
Added a screenshot of the village with F3 on. All but one house has beds in them.
[media]Added one more:

Also, this bug is weird in that it doesn't happen in every scenario and I can't really figure out what is causing it :/
I added a screenshot of a situation where villagers hesitate to get into their beds and also where villagers get stuck on doors.
[media]To test it out, spawn in about 5 villagers
added another screenshot which is easily replicable
