Theoretically you can bypass Minecraft new ban system with this.

But haven't tried, because I am not banned, and don't wont to be 🙂.

Yes I have tested this multiple times. Even on other players but I don't have the footage from that. In my test this happened in 48 out of 50 times. I believe in the other 2 I overcharged the bow, so it did the usual (and expected) damage.

Works for 1.17.1.

I already had bought minecraft under a different account. I just sign out and signed in with a different account. The .minecraft files where left on my pc.

The issue does no longer persists on the new version. I had no idea how to reproduce it, when I was writing the bug report. Thank you for the support.
