This problem is pretty simple to solve, though.. If there was a possibility to change the mapping of the inventory-management-key that would be perfect. Just a simple solution, right? I don't know if it's extremely hard to write that in the code, but I have seen a number of requests on this issue, and it's been almost two years.. People still want it :/

Thanks for the consideration anyway 🙂

Fixed the problem by not spawning in any enchanted books in any chests anymore... xD
Clever, but almost as frustrating as the bug itself 🙂

(PS: After looking for a long while, I didn't find even one chest with enchanted books in them, but that doesn't mean that I'm right. I might in fact be wrong)

I see your points about the exact distance and about the fundamental rules of the game, so I put myself in a more neutral state towards this issue. Thanks for clearing stuff up for me 🙂
Man.. Did I just have a valid conversation with someone on the internet?

Wow.. That came out way more aggressive than I hope you meant it.
I, and a lot of others, think this bug is a great thing in the game.
It helps with simple mining of that one last block, it resets after a few seconds, and is generally not in the way of anything.
If you don't want to use that "feature", fine. If you do: 1.8 ftw 🙂

PS: If you mine in real life (not that Minecraft should simulate real life), you have the same effect, so please.. I was actually a little disappointed at Minecraft the first time I played it, cause of the lack of that function. It seemed obvious that the block should be half-broken, so I could decide if I wanted to mine it all the way through, or if I thought I would lose it in lava etc. so I could leave it to regenerate.
Like obsidian.. just soo long to mine a block, and if you slip a little with the mouse: Start over again..

Please don't fix. It's not so much a bug, as more a good feature. I've been using it since 1.8 came out, and it really helps with that last block I forgot in the ceiling. Make it a feature, don't call it a bug 🙂

I have had this problem myself. I can sort of circumvent it by setting 'shift' to my mouse, and remapping a few of my keys, but it is so annoying that my thumb has to do hard work on my G700 mouse, thereby causing strain in my already vulnerable hand.. I have already tried contacting Logitech about this issue, but no answer on any, and I mean Any of the possible support-sites/social media. It would be very nice to see the modifier keys have their own buttons that we can change ourselves.
And that is still a problem (1.8.4)

Still very much confirmed for 1.8.3

they aren't supposed to be grey.. The just are. And that this is a duplication is not correct.
All the wool blocks have colours in the newest versions of MC, and therefore I wanted to report that the 'new' blocks where rendering grey..

my greatest apologies. I quit minecraft after a forced crash, and now the problems were fixed. A little premature posting of bugS 3 at the same-ish time.

The blurriness I have encountered from versions 1.7.4 and up, have been "solved" by not playing in fullscreen, but instead just dragging the game to the edges of the screen.
The problem regarding that "solution" is that more than half the fun is ripped out of the gaming experience, because playing it fullscreen all the time and then changing to 'windows' mode is, well.. saddening. ;(

fps is also a little all over the place in the snapshots, but I reckon that's being dealt with 🙂

Oki xD

I have had the game just half a year, so I haven't gone to any snap yet, so I didn't know what to expect xD

The only thing now, is to fix the blurriness in the versions above 1.7.2 (even 1.7.4 is blurry) ;(

because I would like to see if the blur-issue has been resolved/been improved
I did read the instructions, but it would be nice for the snaps to be more cautious about such a big issue..

I have no huge personal issue with it. A USB-stick is always my solution for keeping my world safe 🙂
