Heyo, think I know why. When your allocated RAM is full/nearly full in Minecraft and/or Java, it loads the worlds chunk incorrectly. For proof, if you actually rejoin the world, the chunks may change. Not sure about the Seed-0 though, might be the same reason.
No, not really I don't believe. I have genuine proof of it. The steps to do so is: 1. Place a Lightning Rod in the open. 2. Place a candle/mob head ontop. 3. Place a SECOND Lightning Rod, no head/candle. 4. Make it thunder 5. Watch.
