Hi. This "Japanese input issue" has not been resolved (at least for me).
I recently started to play Minecraft on my PS4. When I try to type in a name tag and/or a sign board, all I see is a regular (alpha/numeric) keyboard. There's no button to switch to Japanese keyboard.
