This was indeed fixed in 22w16a but it still happens on 1.18.2
Running KDE Neon 5.24 with a 1000hz keyboard

mojang has a lot of these requests that are not revelant
the person is probably using bedrock edition or just doing something wrong, this is not an issue from mojangs side

This is happening for me in 1.16.5 on windows, hitting the alt or windows key fixes it temporairly i don't remember which one

i resolved this issue by force stopping the "ROCCAT Swarm" software

I think this is a bug. This makes searching for player names rather difficult, especially if you do not remember the capitalization of a player name.
It also looks ugly.

Could someone do a step by step tutorial on how to fix this? It would be greatly appreciated!
